1. Importance of both languages, English & Japanese

2. Only 18 students per class
With classroom openings limited at 18 per class, LCA can provide an excellent learning environment for all students. With small numbers teachers can provide to the student's individual needs and interests.
3. Education of the heart
With a good support team and excellent educators, we strive to provide students with the knowledge of life. We find the student's interests and support them in pursuing those interests. We express an importance on morals and an awareness of the environment. Education begins at the heart.
4. The enjoyment of life
We communicate the beauty of life with our students. With so many possibilities, we encourage students to set goals and work on the achievement of those goals.
Learning is an experience and some skills can be experienced in or outside of the classroom. We provide opportunities for the students to experience the world through camping, fishing, art, music, concerts, museums, and athletic activities.
5. Art and music are an expression of life
Students learn various art tools and techniques as well as how to appreciate different artworks around them.
Music skills are taught beginning with simple rhythm games, listening activities, and small instruments. Lower grades focus on learning how to play paino (1 keyboard per student) and then transitioning to the recorder during the upper grades. |
